Taste of Waldorf Astoria
This past fall, five emerging James Beard Foundation chefs headed to Waldorf Astoria properties in Rome, Berlin, Edinburgh, La Quinta and Shanghai, where they each collaborated with a Waldorf Master Chef to create a signature recipe they hoped would become the new Taste of Waldorf Astoria.
Last February, at The Taste of Waldorf Astoria Gala held at The Waldorf Astoria New York, a panel of esteemed culinary luminaries, including world-renowned chefs, editors and industry experts, along with a people's choice vote determined the winning dish: Celery Risotto alla Waldorf created by the Rome Cavalieri 3-starred Michelin Chef Heinz Beck and the rising star David Posey!
Each Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Resort will offer their own-curated menu for you to enjoy in a distinct location on property. Book now your dining experience at Rome Cavalieri, and for a supplemental fee you'll have access to an exclusive 3-course dinner at L’Uliveto Restaurant created especially for you.
